New Solution for USB Dongle Security!

Lucas Distribution Announces Dongle Lockbox Solution

We are proud to announce a new product offering that eliminates the problem of lost/stolen USB dongle keys.

Dongle keys are used by software developers to protect their products from piracy.

Today, virtually all dongles are USB type and must be plugged into your PC or laptop to run your software program. If you misplace your dongle key or if it is stolen, your software becomes unusable. You will have to replace the dongle and perhaps even replace the software program - often at great expense.

Besides the cost to replace your dongle/software, your software program will be down for hours or even days while you wait to receive replacement items.

The solution - secure your dongle key using a Dongle Lockbox from Lucas Distribution!

Our lockbox kit consists of a secure ABS plastic enclosure, 6 foot USB extender cable, combination lock with steel locking cable, and a Flex Foot Anchor Pad. Our kit comes with instructions and no tools are required for installation.

You may change the combination of your lock and as an added service, if you register your new combination with Lucas Distribution we will keep a record of it should you ever forget or lose your combination!

Using EFI, Wasatch or Onyx RIPs? Secure your USB Dongle

If you are using RIPs (Raster Image Processing) from EFI, Wasatch, or Onyx, you may be required to plug a USB Dongle or hardware key into your computer to activate the RIP.

If someone removes the hardware key from your computer, your RIP becomes fully or partially disabled. Prevent downtime by securing your USB hardware key with a Dongle Lockbox from Lucas Distribution. Easy to install and secure, allows operation of your RIP while protecting your hardware key from theft.
